EO Electro-Optic Encoder and Cable
   -The EO System delivers a high resolution output when used with Flow Technology 
    flowmeters. Resolutions as high as 630,000 pulses per gallon (166.45 pulses/cc) 
    may be obtained with the EO system when used with a Flow Technology flowmeter 
    equipped with the Optical Interface option. The modular design of the system makes 
    it easy to install and maintain. The high resolution enables Flow Technology 
    flowmeters to be used on closed loop control systems that must react quickly to 
    small changes in flow rate. The EO System also provides accurate monitoring of 
    high viscosity fluid dispensing, where the fluid is traveling at low flow rates or is 
    being batched in very small quantities. Some of the flow measurement applications 
    for the EO System include hydraulics, polymers, polyurethanes, plastics, adhesives,   
    additives, and coatings. Industries served include chemical, automotive, food,

SRP Series Surface Reference Pickoff
   -The Surface Reference Pickoff serves as a simple, but versatile sensor for Flow 
    Technology metal gear positive displacement flowmeters. Internally, an oscillating 
    circuit produces a carrier frequency in the pickoff coil. The ferrous gear teeth of a 
    PD flowmeter modulate the amplitude of the carrier. The modulated signal is then 
    filtered and amplified to produce a square-wave pulse. Because there are no 
    magnets to impart drag on the impellers, the PD meter may operate over a wider 
    range and with better linearity than that offered by a traditional magnetic pickoff.
    The quick-disconnect fitting makes installation and maintenance quick and effortless. 
    Simply screw the sensor body into a Flow Technology PD flowmeter, plug in the 
    cable, and lock firmly in place with a few twists of the connector  coupling nut.
